We have been involved with the facility management business for almost forty years via our parent company ModularDesigns. In 1997, we started a business specializing in installing carpet tile in the occupied office through CarpetLift.com. Installing carpet tile using specialized Levitate ™ tools, we are able to complete our work with minimal disruption to the office environment and virtually no loss of production for the office staff. We have an established a rewarding relationship with Milliken Floor Covering; installing nearly ten million square feet of Milliken modular carpet over the years.
When Milliken introduced Legato Carpet System for the residential market, we thought it was a natural for us to get involved with this unique modular approach for residential carpet. There are a number of similarities to our existing commercial carpet business. First of all, we get to offer the eco-friendly and quality Milliken carpet that we are so familiar with…perfect for the do-it-yourselfer who doesn’t want the hassle of a broadloom carpet installation and wants more than the ‘commercial’ look that is typically associated with carpet tile.
